No Aiff or WAV support???

Seriously?? This is an issue thats been raised since last year, and still no support. Im not sure why, because it will accept WAV/AIFFs in rekordbox on computer and iTunes on the phone. Not sure what the issue is. But what is the point if you cant have the best sound?

Awesome

Great app really helps with the new multiplayer!

Mind...Blown

Best DJ app Ive ever used hands down

Pioneer is a selfish company !!!

The problem with Pioneer is , that they wont lower theyre prices so that us poor djs can buy them..you have to literally put your house up for collateral just to even buy four pieces... The 2 cdj nexus, the nexus mixer, and the rmx 1000... Thats about 15 grand right there...Cmon pioneer make em more affordable.. Believe me youll make a whole lot more money if you do...you are the best, but there are people out here who cant even begin to afford ur super high prices but would be honored to own a real pioneer set up.. And im not talkin about ur entry level stuff...we want the top of the line ....

Totally meh.

I rarely run into a nexus while at a club. USB plug in already! Also, why cant I sort by Camelot key (numerical)??!!?! Please get on that! Literally every other DJ program does that.

Doesnt support lossless

Your CDJs support WAV/AIFF... Your app should as well.

just the app for me

five stars isnt enough for this thing!!!!!!!!

PLEEAASSEEE UPDATE ALREADY

You should be able to transfer music through USB for faster results. Also, it definitely needs to be optimized for the iPad. Rekordbox 3.0 is such a beaut and it needs an app to match! It would also be amazing to be able to plug it into ur CDJ and just be able to play music straight from there as a USB stick. Imagine browsing your library on your iPad just as u can do on your laptop, plug it in and link the CDJs.

Is IOS the problem or the focus group used to design this app

It seems to lack everything I want from an ipad app. Usb loading instead of wireless both while adding songs to playlists and when attached to cdj2000s Non-redundant music space. Every song imported from iTunes playlist is copied and space is used on my ipad . Stable enough to transfer all my playlists without crashing To name a few irritating issues.

Almost there...

I use this app as a second screen for my XDJ Aero. Native iPad compatibility would be nice, especially with "Now playing" waveforms on both decks.

Needs update!!

This app needs an update!! When trying to send songs to youre phone via this app it doesnt play!! Please fix soon!

Great but no .wav/.aiff

Love the app but honestly why cant this support the file types .wav or .aiff. Many djs use them for the superior sound quality and honestly if its a cost/licensing issue just make a pro version and charge for it. They wont mind paying. I know I wouldnt. This app is almost useless without it and besides that the app is perfect

ipad version

why rekordbox doesn’t have ipad version?

DJ/Club light and sound tech

Like the app however it looks like if I prepared from iTunes playlist, it copies the song which uses double the HD space on my iPhone. I would assume there would just be an analysis file created. Unfortunately therefore cant really use it. Id end up using another app to set loops and cue points then import them onto laptop then onto usb drive. Space is too valuable on phone. Too bad like the mobile interface.

Not impressed

The current Version is not as accessible. Aside from that the features such as sorting music by BPM and Key are not available to mix on the fly. Please fix this problem. As a visually impaired DJ i rely on my iphone to control my cdjs since the application on the Mac is not accessible.. The earlier ios version allowed me to do this using voiceover.

Battery killer

This app ate 59% of my battery in a few hours running mostly in the background on iPhone 6s. Unusable :/ like the idea though

DONT UPDATE - Too buggy and impractical

!!! DONT UPDATE!!! Especially If you have an XDJ Aero : Again, if you have not updated yet from the previous older version DONT! This new version is very impractical and functions quite poorly. Although they fixed the issue with not being able to play WAV files stored on the local USB drive... It plays them again... Sending them to a deck via controlling the app...(Thank you for that) However... The app is still too unresponsive and VERY slow... It seems as though perhaps its trying to pull down too much metadata or something from the USB drive (and its kit even that big of a USB drive - only 32GB). Every time I open a playlist stored on the USB drive browsing it through the app it is very sluggish... It seems "jumpy" and "glitchy" like its trying to get a lot of info from the USB about the playlist EVERY time you access it... Its not like it only happens the first time you open that playlist it happens every time you open the same playlist. The search feature is not as intuitive or as useful and as quick as it was in the original version of the app... Once you search for something and find it and load it... You then have to go all the way back... Hitting back multiple times... And then to the main menu to then select where to go from there... As opposed to being able to just get out of search mode and continue off where you previously were- like it used to. I refuse to even use this app as I cant perform events with it- not the way it is now. I am so relieved that I managed to save the old version so that I could revert back to it. If the app was made "lighter" and more stream-line to use with the Aero- which was originally what this app was invented and designed for... It would be better. But as is... Its been a move in a completely wrong direction. Please fix this Pioneer DJ- this is a reflection of attention and support for your products. Heck I even volunteer to be a BETA tester! Lets just get a working fully functioning practical updated version. Once it works better Ill consider changing my comments.

Try Harder: AIFF & WAV Support

I read on Pioneers forum that data over USB on iPhones is limited, and thus will result in drop outs for larger files. Doesnt this fly in the face of Apples move to embrace Lightning-ready audio peripherals in the name of high quality audio? Something doesnt add up here.

Really

Really still no native iPad app like who really wants to edit tracks on the iPhone if you have a iPad and this app is still buggy quits unexpectedly.time to get some better coders on this.
